Shen Yen-Chin , also known as Andy Shen in English-speaking countries , (born October 4, 1990 ) is a Taiwanese ice hockey player who has played for Taichung Thunder in the Chinese Taipei Hockey League since 2015 .

Career

Shen Yen-Chin began his career with the Boston junior Blackhawks in the International Junior Hockey League. After spending the 2012/13 season with the Silver Monster team in a sub-Asian league, he has been playing for Taichung Thunder in the Chinese Taipei Hockey League since 2015 .

International

In the junior division Shen played at the U18 World Cup in 2008 , when he was voted best player on his team, and the U20 World Cup in 2010 in Division III for Taiwan.

Shen took for Taiwanese men in the years 2010 , 2012 , 2013 , he aks the best player of his team was chosen in 2014 and 2015 when he was voted the best striker in the top division, each at IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia in part and Up until 2012 he always won the tournament with his country.

His first appearance at a senior world championship was at the 2017 Taiwanese debut tournament in Division III, when he was immediately voted the best player on his team. In 2018 he played with his team in Division III. He was also in his country's squad at the 2011 and 2017 Asian Winter Games .
