Sheyla Gutiérrez Ruiz (born January 1, 1994 in Varea ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2011 Sheyla Gutiérrez finished sixth in the road race of the juniors at the road world championships in Copenhagen . The following year she was the Spanish youth road champion.

In 2013 Gutiérrez received a contract with Team Lointek . Her first major success was the 2015 Grand Prix de Plumelec-Morbihan , and she finished eighth in the road race at the 2016 World Championships . 2017 was her most successful year until then: she was the Spanish road champion of the elite women, won Le Samyn and won a stage of the Giro d'Italia Femminile .
