The Sieczkowe Turnie are a mountain range in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship with a maximum altitude of 2220 m npm in Skrajna Sieczkowa Turnia . The border between the municipalities of Bukowina Tatrzańska ( Brzegi district ) in the east and Zakopane in the west runs across the ridge of the massif .

Location and surroundings

Below the massif are the valleys Dolina Buczynowa (K) and Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa . The massif borders on the Zadnia Sieczkowa Przełączka mountain pass to the Kozi Wierch massif in the south and to the Granaty massif in the north over the Sieczkowa Szczerba mountain pass .

The crest of the massif extends from the mountain pass Krzyżne to Alm Palenica Białczańska as follows:

The name Sieczkowe Turnie can be translated as Sieczkowe Towers .

The tree line is at an altitude of 1600 meters. The Sieczkowe Turnie are a retreat for chamois and marmots.

The high trail Orla Perć runs over the ridge of the Sieczkowe Turnie .
