Siegfried Hafner

Siegfried Hafner (born March 18, 1925 in Lienz ; † July 1, 2013 ) was an Austrian sculptor .

Life

Hafner attended the State Trade School  in Innsbruck  with Hans Pontiller  and studied from 1949 to 1952 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna  with Franz Santifaller . He lived in Innsbruck and created religious sculptures, monuments, genre figures and nativity scenes. For many years he taught sculpture at the HTL in Innsbruck.
