Sierockie is a village in the municipality of Biały Dunajec in the Tatrzański powiat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland in the Podhale region . The village is located in the Pogórze Gubałowskie mountain range about seven kilometers north of Zakopane and fifteen kilometers south of Nowy Targ .

The place name can be translated as orphan village . The place is the second highest village in Poland after Ząb .

It is quieter in Sierockie than in the neighboring ski resorts of Zakopane or Bukowina Tatrzańska . The tourist infrastructure is being expanded.
