Slind, who competes for Oppdal Idrettslag, has been taking part in competitions organized by the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2005 . Since 2010 she has mainly competed in the Scandinavian Cup . She ran her first World Cup race in November 2011 in Sjusjoen , which she finished in 32nd place over 10 km freestyle and seventh place in the relay. In April 2013 she won bronze in the 30 km mass start race at the Norwegian championships in Løten . At the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero , she took seventh place over 5 km freestyle and sixth place with the relay. In March 2014 she won the Storlirennet over 21 km freestyle. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season , she took 50th place overall at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer . She got her first World Cup points with 15th place in the sprint race. A week later she won her first race in the Scandinavian Cup in the 20 km mass start race in Lillehammer . This was followed by further top ten placements in the Scandinavian Cup, which she finished in second place in the overall standings. In January 2015 in Rybinsk , she achieved sixth place in the sprint, her first top ten placement in an individual World Cup race. In the 2015/16 season she finished in the top ten five times in the Scandinavian Cup, including two third places and thus finished sixth in the overall standings. The following season she finished 51st in the World Cup mini-tour in Lillehammer and 16th in the 2016/17 Tour de Ski . In February she reached her first podium in the World Cup with second place in the sprint and second place with Anna Svendsen in the team sprint in Pyeongchang . She finished the season in 27th place in the overall World Cup. The following year she won the Haukelirennet over 32 km freestyle. In the 2018/19 season she finished 37th at the Lillehammer Triple and in January 2019 at the Norwegian Championships first place with the relay and at the end of March 2019 together with Kari Øyre Slind third place in the team sprint.
