Silke Super

Silke Super , bourgeois Silke Wissing, (born August 15, 1968 in Münster ) is a German radio and television presenter and editor .

Life

As a teenager, Super could be heard in productions by the Münster Municipal Theater , gained experience as a studio singer and sang in the new wave band If Idaho Falls , among others .

Since 1993 she has worked for various Hamburg record labels ( A&R assistant / phonogram , promotion / urban ) and in 1996 switched to the first German editorial team at MTV . After starting out as a booker, she later headed the Talent & Artist Relations department and was Music Director for MTV Central Europe ( MTV Germany , Austria, Switzerland).

In March 1999 she moved to Cologne as head of music for the music broadcaster VIVA . In 2001 she moved back to Hamburg , where she worked as a freelance video commissioner (mostly for the Warner Music label ) and realized music video productions for various national and international artists.

In December 2004 she started working in the production team of director Marcus Sternberg , meanwhile living in Berlin .

From the start of broadcasting on February 1, 2005, Silke Super had a daily broadcast lasting several hours on the Berlin radio station 100.6 Motor FM , which was renamed 100.6 Flux FM in August 2011 . There she also had editorial responsibility. Since October 2011 she has been moderating the rbb radio program Radio Eins . There she mainly moderates the weekly evening program Live from the Babylon from 7–9 pm, alternating with Marion Brasch. A special feature are their direct translations into German of live interviews conducted in English (rarely also in French). The program is the only one that is not regularly broadcast from Potsdam-Babelsberg, but directly from Berlin (from a studio in the Babylon cinema).

She gives interview coaching, moderates events and works as a DJ . Since 2006 she has been a member of the coaching team of the LAG Rock (regional association of popular music initiatives in Lower Saxony), which takes place twice a year, in Hanover and regularly holds workshops, seminars, lectures and panels on parts of her work in the music industry (including at Popkomm , the c / o pop , at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and various other universities).

Silke Super can be heard in the role of "April Carradine" in episodes no. 34 I know what fear is and no. 35 Das Haus der Seele in the mystery radio play series Gabriel Burns .

From May 2011 she moderated the music program "Berlin Live" for the TV channel ZDFkultur and reported in summer 2011 for ZDF and arte in eight four-hour live broadcasts from various European music festivals (including, for the first time ever, directly from the Glastonbury Festival in England).

In October 2017 she conducted the official, detailed interview with the artist on the release of Farin Urlaub's double album Berliner Schule . It was offered for download exclusively on farin-urlaub.de.

She read some parts of the audio book for Bela B. 's debut novel Scharnow and was also involved in the preliminary readings in January 2019 with Bela B. in Hamburg and Berlin, her voice was played on the official reading tour.

In 2019 she moderated the ARD stage of the IFA for the third time.

Silke Super has a daughter.
