After rehabilitation at the Swiss Paraplegic Center in Nottwil , Beltrametti worked in sports management. In August 2003 he was elected as a representative of the CVP in the municipal council of Vaz / Obervaz . Since 2008 he has been managing a hotel together with his wife.
