Silvio Huonder

Silvio Huonder (born October 6, 1954 in Chur ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Silvio Huonder graduated from the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts . He worked as a set designer and director and studied script writing at the Berlin University of the Arts . In addition to numerous plays and radio plays , he has also published five novels and a volume of short stories . In 2005 he won the MDR Literature Prize with his story “Tobi” . In 2013 Huonder received the Bündner Literature Prize .

Today he lives with his family in Schwielowsee (Brandenburg). Since its inception, he has worked as a lecturer at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel.
