Simon Pirkl (born April 3, 1997 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Pirkl started his career at FC Wacker Tirol . In 2011 he went to AKA Tirol. In 2014 he returned to FC Wacker Innsbruck , for whose regional league team he played. He made his professional debut on the 2nd matchday 2014/15 against SC Austria Lustenau . Despite two consecutive cruciate ligament tears, his contract with Wacker Innsbruck was extended early on January 11, 2016 to 2019.

In January 2018 it was awarded to the league competitor SC Austria Lustenau . After the loan ended, he returned to the meanwhile first-class FC Wacker Innsbruck. With Wacker, he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2019, after which he left Innsbruck.

After more than three months without a club, he returned to Austria Lustenau in October 2019, where he received a contract that ran until June 2020. After six missions for Lustenau, he left the club prematurely in January 2020. He then moved to league competitor SV Horn in February 2020 .
