Jon Šporn (born May 22, 1997 in Celje ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

society

Šporn started his career at NK Celje . In May 2014 he made his debut for the professionals from Celje in the 1st SNL when he came on as a substitute for Danijel Miškić on matchday 36 of the 2013/14 season against ND Gorica in the 67th minute . This was his only season outing. In May 2015 he scored his first goal in the Slovenian top division in a 3-2 win against FC Koper . In the 2014/15 season he came to ten first division appearances. In the 2015/16 season he did not play a game for the professionals. After another ten missions in the 2016/17 season, he was awarded to the second division club NK Drava Ptuj during the winter break . For Ptuj, he made seven appearances in the 2nd SNL by the end of the season . After the end of the season, the loan was extended for another season and in January 2018 he was signed by the second division team. In the 2017/18 season he made 27 second division appearances for the club. As runner-up he took part in the promotion relegation with Ptuj, in which, however, one failed at NK Triglav Kranj .

After a total of 52 second division games, Šporn moved to first division club NŠ Mura in January 2019 . By the end of the season he came to five appearances for Mura, in which he scored a goal. As fourth in the table, he took with the club in the following season in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League , but failed in the first round to Maccabi Haifa . In the 2019/20 season he made 24 appearances for Mura in the 1st SNL.

For the 2020/21 season he moved to the Austrian second division club SV Horn .

National team

Šporn played three games for the Slovenian U-19 team between August and September 2015 .
