Simone Lorenzo Salvi OSB (born October 28, 1879 in Lama dei Peligni ; † May 26, 1964 ) was an Italian Roman Catholic religious , bishop and abbot of the Subiaco Territorial Abbey .

Life

Simone Lorenzo Salvi joined the Congregation of Benedictine in and put on 3 December 1895, the profession from. On October 19, 1902, he received the sacrament of ordination .

On November 10, 1917, Simone Lorenzo Salvi was elected abbot of the Territorial Abbey of Subiaco. Pope Pius XI appointed him on September 30, 1927 titular bishop of Diocaesarea in Palestine . The secretary of the Holy Office , Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val , ordained him episcopal on October 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Salerno-Acerno , Carlo Gregorio Maria Grasso OSB, and the Apostolic Nuncio emeritus in Argentina and Paraguay , Beda Giovanni Cardinale OSB.
