The Sindersbach is a right, west-northwest tributary of the Main in the Main-Spessart district in the Bavarian Spessart, about 8.2 kilometers long .

The Sindersbach rises south of the Lohr district of Ruppertshütten . It flows into the Main shortly after Langenprozelten , a district of Gemünden am Main .

Numerous forest paths suitable for hiking, e.g. B. the Maintalhöhenringweg , open up the area around the Sindersbach.

Use of hydropower

The Langenprozelten pumped storage power plant with upper, lower and retention basins is located in the Sindersbach Valley area .
