Ampelographic varietal characteristics
In ampelography , the habitus is described as follows:
- The shoot tip is open. She is only slightly hairy. The bronze-colored spotted young leaves are hairy like a cobweb.
- The medium-sized leaves are three-lobed and slightly curved. The stem bay is Lyren - open. The sheet is serrated to a point.
- The grape is large and mostly winged. The round berries are large and greenish-yellow in color.
The grape variety ripens approx. 8-10 days after the Gutedel and is therefore considered to ripen early in an international comparison.
The variety is hardly susceptible to powdery mildew , downy mildew and gray mold rot , but it has a tendency to stalk paralysis . Because of the medium-early budding, the variety is vulnerable to frost.
