Skånetrafik
Skånetrafik is an administrative unit of the Landsting (German: Provinziallandtag) , which is responsible for local public transport in the southern Swedish province of Skåne (German: Schonen) . It takes on the planning, awarding of contracts and marketing, but does not operate any transport routes itself, but awards them to various transport companies in a public tendering process.

All rail transport in the province of Skåne is operated on behalf of Skånetrafik. These include Pågatåg , which serves local rail transport , and Öresundståg , which connects Greater Copenhagen with Skåne via the Öresund Bridge . Pågatåg trains run from Malmö to Simrishamn via Ystad , via Lund to Höör and Kristianstad , to Ängelholm via Landskrona and Helsingborg, and via Teckomatorp to Helsingborg and from Helsingborg to Kristianstad via Åstorp . Skånetrafik also participated in the Kustpilen traffic.
With around 25 million travelers, the rail transport sector accounts for around a quarter of public transport.
Until June 2007 the operation was carried out by SJ AB (SJ), since then Arriva has been the operator.

Local and regional bus routes in Skåne are also operated by various bus companies such as Bergkvarabuss or Swebus AB on behalf of Skånetrafik .
There are local bus routes (city buses) in ten cities. They carry around 50 million passengers annually, which makes up around 50% of the total volume of public transport .
Around 120 regional bus routes connect the various places in Skåne. Larger places are connected by express buses.
trolleybus
The town of Landskrona has the only trolleybus operation in Sweden. The line runs from the train station to the city center and is around three kilometers long. Since a tram was viewed as too expensive and a conventional bus route too unattractive, construction of the route began on January 30, 2003, and regular service began on September 15 of the same year. The last Swedish trolleybus in Gothenburg had ceased its service 39 years earlier .

With the planned Lund tram , which should go into operation in 2019 , Skånetagraph will add another field of activity to its portfolio in addition to Pågatåg , Regionbuss and Stadsbuss . The opening of the company was postponed to August 2020.
