Skin Trade is an American action film from the year 2014 by director Ekachai Uekrongtham . The leading roles were played by Dolph Lundgren , Tony Jaa and Ron Perlman .
The film premiered in the US on November 7, 2014, and was released on DVD in Germany on June 15, 2015.

The policeman Nick Cassidy is on the trail of a Russian criminal family who are involved in organized human trafficking on a large scale . After Cassidy kills the son of gang boss Viktor Dragovic in a shootout, the latter takes revenge on Cassidy's family. Dragovic murders Cassidy's wife and daughter that night. Nick escapes seriously injured and is hospitalized. After he escapes from this, driven by intent to revenge, he follows the Dragovic family to Bangkok, where he gets help from the local police officer Tony Vitayakul. Together they try to kill Dragovic and destroy his trafficking network. Meanwhile, the FBI agent Eddie Reed is assigned to Nick.
criticism
The film received mostly mediocre reviews. While Kino.de praises the film for its action and sums it up that it is “a programmed success with this cast and plot like this”, cinema.de summarizes the film as “acceptable action food, free of innovations” on rogerebert .com is even rated Skin Trade as "ridiculous".
On Rotten Tomatoes , Skin Trade received only four positive ratings out of 16 ratings in total (25%), with an average of 4.9 out of 10 points.
