A gang of robbers ambushes Lina and Naga for a month, but fails because Lina blows them up together with Naga. When Lina chases after the last of the bandits, leaving Naga behind, she suddenly faces Diol. He made a number of Homunculus copies of Naga and wants to defeat Lina with her annoying laughter. This collapses unconscious and is taken to the hideout of Diol and his partner Vista.
Naga is looking for her friend and soon meets Diol and the Homunculus copies he made. Unlike Lina, she not only manages to resist her own laugh, but also to use it in her favor. Diol and his partner then flee, but do not escape their just punishment by Lina.
Episode 2
German title: | Jeffery's Path to Knight |
Original title: | ジ ェ フ リ ー 君 の 騎士 道 , Jefurī-kun no Kishidō |
Lina and Naga are hired by Josephine to help their son, the skinny, naive and clumsy Jeffrey . This is to become a knight of the royal guard. The three go to a fictitious attack on a bandit hideout, but it quickly becomes apparent that the budding knight is mostly in his own way. Again and again Josephine appears, who as a masked passerby beats everyone who speaks badly about Jeffrey . In the hiding place Lina, Naga and Jeffrey suddenly face real bandits, which the masked Josephine has nothing to counter. However, it is easy for Lina and Naga to defeat them.
Together, the three finally set out to attack the Dark Knight Galdar, who is terrorizing the country with his orcs . Josephine quickly defeats the dark knight with her strength and makes him work for her son. After the masked passer-by has disappeared again, Galdar leads Lina, Naga and Jeffrey to Lord Goldias, his former master. This is Jeffrey's father and Josephine's husband , who shows up shortly afterwards to punish him for staying so long.
Episode 3
German title: | Mirror Mirror |
Original title: | 鏡 よ 鏡 , Kagami yo Kagami |
Lina and Naga are given the task of finding and destroying the Shadow Reflector , which is considered the ultimate weapon by the Mages Association . The reflector is a magical mirror that has the power to create an exact image of whoever looks into it. This likeness has the powers and abilities of the original, but reverses its essence into the opposite. The reflector is now owned by the renegade vice chairman of the Magicians' Association, Lagas, who does everything possible to stop Lina and her friend.
The two finally find it, but are suddenly confronted with their counterparts created by the reflector. However, these show that the reflector is a failure. Because the copies are not able to fight because of their character. When Lagas realizes this during the test on Lina and Naga, he tries to escape, but is caught by the two magicians. Contrary to what Lina assumed, the copies do not disappear when the mirror is destroyed.
