The FK Sloga Jugomagnat Skopje ; (in full: Fudbalski Klub Sloga Jugomagnat Skopje, Macedonian Фудбалски Клуб Слога Југомагнат Скопје ) was a North Macedonian football club from Skopje .

history

The association was founded in 1927 under the name FK Zafer by supporters from Skopje's neighborhood Čair. The club initially consisted of different ethnic groups, mostly Albanian and Turkish players. There were also many Bosnian and Macedonian players who played for the club.

After the Second World War , the ex-Yugoslav communists decided against the will of the citizens and fans to change the name of the association to Sloga (Macedonian unity ). During this time, the club collected donations to finance the players' salaries. The team always had a large fan base, whether at home or away. When the new sponsor "Jugomagnat" with company owner Rafet Muminović got on board in 1989, there was an upswing. In 1992 the club was renamed FK Sloga Jugomagnat.

After independence, the club finished sixth in the first season of the Prva Makedonska Fudbalska League. In the years 1999 to 2001, the club became champions three times in a row. You have also won a cup three times. After that it went steadily downhill. In 2005, after the main sponsor's financial problems, the club had to move into the second division.

In 2012 the club was merged with FC Albarsa to form FK Shkupi. However, this is not legally the successor to the original FK Sloga Jugomagnat. The club successes of both clubs are kept separate by the Football Federation Macedonia.
