The Smith Creek is a stream in Fremont County in Wyoming in the United States.

It rises about a kilometer away from the Hunt Field airfield , south of Lander and initially flows in a northeastern direction. After a few hundred meters the stream crosses under US Highway 287 . Then the brook takes a northerly direction and receives two nameless tributaries from the right. The stream then meanders towards its mouth and receives another nameless tributary from the right. Shortly afterwards, the only named tributary of the stream flows in from the left with the Chittim Gulch. Smith Creek then crosses under Wyoming State Route 789 and an old railway line and finally flows into the Popo Agie River at an altitude of 1,601  m , 200 m north of the site of the historic Fort McGraw .

The stream can be used for fishing.
