Smith Village is a town in Oklahoma . At the 2010 census , the place had 66 inhabitants. The municipality is a suburb of Oklahoma City and belongs to Oklahoma County .

geography

The only 0.1 km² large town is located in the urban suburban belt around Oklahoma City . Smith Village has a rectangular floor plan about 400 meters by 200 meters. The community is bordered by Oklahoma City to the west and Del City on the other three sides . The southern border is South East 15th Street .

history

Smith Village emerged after World War II . Rose Henrietta Smith , after whom the place is named, had inherited a 20 acre farm and began developing a rural residential area from her property in 1949. When this settlement was to be attached to Del City in 1952, the residents opted for self-government instead.
