Solène Rigot (* 1992 in France ) is a French actress and musician .

Life

Solène Rigot grew up in Rosny-sous-Bois in the Seine-Saint-Denis department . She took piano and accordion lessons as a child , but the circus school across the street from her room had piqued her particular interest. At the École Nationale des Arts du Cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois , she learned acrobatics , juggling and unicycling , including on the high wire , as well as dance and public performances. In 2010, a casting director who happened to be present was so impressed by Rigot's artistry on the rope that she invited her to a film role, the Noémie in La Permission de minuit by Delphine Gleize . Three years later she played Gilda in The Great Freedom by Jean Denizot and for this supporting role she was awarded the Audience Award at the Festival Jean Carmet de Moulins . At FIFF Namur 2016, she and three other actresses received the Bayard Film Prize for best actress for her play Karine in Orpheline by Arnaud des Pallières .

Roget is also the accordion player for the alternative pop rock band Mr. Crock .
