Solange Ghernaouti-Hélie (born December 5, 1958 ) is a computer scientist and professor at the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and an international expert in the field of cyber security and cyber defense .
activities
Ghernaouti received his PhD in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Paris VI University in 1986 .
In 1987 she became the first female professor at HEC Lausanne ( University of Lausanne ). She leads the Swiss Cybersecurity Advisory and Research Group (SCARG) , which she founded, and the Complex Systems research group at the university. She developed an interdisciplinary approach to digital security that is intended to serve people, organizations and states on a strategic and operational level.
She is the author of numerous technical and popular science books as well as scientific publications on the topics of telecommunications, computer risk control, computer crime and cyber performance.
Ghernaouti works regularly with various institutions of the United Nations , the European Union and government agencies as well as with private companies.
