As long as we love is a German TV film by Olaf Kreinsen from 2001 . The first broadcast took place on April 9, 2001 on ZDF in prime time .
action
Veterinarians and behavioral researchers Dr. Miriam Herzfeld and Dr. Karl Sellinger meet again after many years in the Berlin Zoo . Herzfeld and Sellinger, who once fell in love, still have strong feelings for one another today. But there is also a lot of pain associated with their reunion. At that time they lost their son. When they get to know the teenage Gabriel, the two see a new future for themselves.
criticism
The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm wrote: “It's a shame that director Kreinsen so often abandons his leading actors on their emotional tour de force. Hannelore Elsner (German and Bavarian Film Prize for “The Untouchable”) can do more than unbridled pathos and wooden dialogues. " The overall conclusion they drew was: “Unfortunately, bears and feelings are not in control”. They gave the film a medium rating, thumbs to the side.
