Achim Poulheim (born October 25, 1956 in Cologne ) is a German cameraman .

Life

Achim Poulheim has been working as a camera assistant since the early 1980s. With the drama Martha Jellneck , directed by Kai Wessel , Poulheim made his debut as a cameraman for a feature film. Since then, he has worked as a cameraman for films such as Der Zimmerpringbrunnen , Berlin 36 and Löwenzahn - Das Kinoablebnis . Parallel to his camera work, he also taught for some time as a lecturer and since 2009 as head of the camera department at the Hamburg Media School .
