Oli Bigalke , actually Oliver Bigalke , (born March 3, 1968 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

Oli Bigalke took acting lessons at the New Munich Drama School from 1991–1992 (direction: Ali Wunsch-König ). He began his acting career in the early / mid-1990s with theater appearances with independent theater groups and at off-theaters in Munich. In 1995 he played the villager Erich in Katzelmacher at the Pasinger Kulturfabrik . He had further engagements in Munich at the Free Theater Munich (2000; title role in Lenz 2000 ) and at the New Theater Munich (2004 and 2013). From August to October 2006 he appeared in the Berlin Admiralspalast in Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper as Münz-Matthias in a production of the play by Klaus Maria Brandauer .

Since the late 1990s, Bigalke worked mainly for film and television. He was often used, also because of his striking appearance, in concise supporting roles, often as a police officer or villain. Doormen, security guards, craftsmen, criminals, dealers and violent criminals were among the staff he portrayed. Police shooting training also helped him with the convincing performance of weapons.

In the movie Be.Angeled (2001) he played the police chief inspector Landowski. In the Sat1 television film Die Masche mit der Liebe (2007), with Anja Kling in the lead role, he played the unemployed Michael Wuttke. Bigalke took on the role of prisoner Svetko in Simon Verhoeven's film comedy Men Hearts ... and the Very Great Love (2011) . In the 5th season of the TV series In All Friendship - The Young Doctors (March 2019) Bigalke took on one of the main roles of the episode as a seriously injured patient and husband.

In 2010 he received the Grimme Prize with the entire cast of the television film Murderer on Amrum . Oli Bigalke is a member of the Federal Association of Film and TV Actors . He lives in Berlin and Munich.
