Solo 66

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Solo 66 is a card - trick game for five players that the rules of Skat is based -Spiels. The game is played with a French Skat sheet with 32 cards. As in Skat, a solo player plays against the other players. Irritation is only with the intended trump suit, Jacks are queued in the respective card color and no additional assets to map the trump suit.

Style of play

The game is played with five people and is essentially the same as a game of skat.

At the beginning of the game the dealer shuffles the cards and can stand , then he dealt to each player six cards. The remaining two cards are placed in the middle of the table as a face-down talon . By stimuli a solo player is determined, the one who has the highest card color in the order cross ♣ , spades ♠ , hearts ♥ and diamonds ♦ as trump offers wins the stimuli. The first bid is made by the player to the left of the dealer ( forehand ), who can, however, also pass . The player who places the highest bid first wins the game and becomes the solo player. He must announce the bid or a higher game. Then he picks up the two talon cards and may “push” any two cards into his trick pile. If no trump is announced and all players fold, depending on the agreement, new trumps are dealt or, alternatively, no trumps are played, with the one who won the last trick (regardless of his other tricks and values).

The forehand player plays the first card, all other players must either discard a card of the same color (duty to operate) or, if that is not possible, play a trump. Only if a player cannot play a suitable suit or a trump can he discard any card. The player who placed the highest card of the suit led or the highest trump wins the trick. The ace is the highest card, followed by 10, king, queen, jack, 9, 8 and 7.

In order to win the game, the solo player must have more than half of the total points of the game in his tricks at the end of the game settlement. The cards are scored in the same way as Skat : The 7, 8 and 9 count to zero, the jack counts two, the queen counts three, the king counts four, the 10 counts ten and the ace counts eleven points. Another 10 points are awarded to the person who takes the last trick, so that a total of 130 points can be achieved and the solo player must finish the game with at least 66 points.

According to a previously agreed game, the points received are noted as a win; if a solo player loses, he is deducted double the point value. If the opponents have less than 33 points, they are played tailors and the winner gets their points twice, and if they couldn't take a trick (black), they get them three times. If he loses with less than 33 points, three times the value is deducted, and if he does not get a trick, he loses four times.
