Sonnleiten-Wieden is a locality and, as Sonnleiten, a cadastral community of the municipality of Sankt Marein in the Mürz Valley in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .

The cadastral community, which essentially consists of the single layer Sonnleitner , is located in the southwestern part of the community area. In the west there is also the Sonnleiten settlement as part of Parschlug in the municipality of Kapfenberg .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 19 building areas with 8,411 m² and 21 gardens on 19,444 m² in the cadastral community of Sonnleiten , in 1989/1990 there were 15 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 142 and in 2009/2010 there were 70 buildings on 144 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 111 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 452 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 45 hectares were used for agriculture and 509 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 39 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 502 hectares. The average soil climate of Sonnleiten is 16.5 (as of 2010).
