The series “ Sonntags Nach-Tisch” was a ZDF program specially geared towards children . The individual programs ran on Sunday afternoons, initially in the time slot from 2:15 p.m. to around 4:05 p.m. From November 24, 1985, the Sunday after-table was broadcast regularly between 1.45 and 4.20 p.m. In the opening credits a wing chair could be seen, which was patterned according to the season (spring, summer, autumn or winter). One of the five moderators took a seat on this “season chair” to announce the following articles, children's and youth series or to give current event information and leisure tips. Sometimes there were also guests in the studio. The series ran from October 7, 1984 to December 20, 1987.
