Southampton Parish is a 6.1 km² administrative area of Bermuda with 6421 inhabitants (2016).
The Parish, which is comparable to a district in German-speaking countries, is located in the southwest of the main Bermudian island of Grand Bermuda . The administrative district also includes a few small islands in Little Sound off the north coast . Southampton Parish is bordered by Sandys Parish to the northwest and Warwick Parish to the east .
The administrative area is named after the English aristocrat Henry Wriothesley, 3rd Earl of Southampton (1573-1624).
One of the attractions in the Parish is the 41 meter high and was put into operation on May 1, 1846 Lighthouse Gibbs Hill Lighthouse .
