The Speckkarspitze is a 2621 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Gleirsch-Halltal chain in the Karwendel in Tyrol . The peak is on a riser, the slip resistance requires from Hallerangerhaus ( 1768 m above sea level. A. ) in Hinterautal or from Halltal about Lafatscher yoke ( 2081 m above sea level. A. reachable). Numerous difficult climbing routes lead through the compact slabs of the north face ( sectional walls ).
The normal route leads from the Lafatscher Joch through a cirque to the northwest ridge, then fragile, but without any major climbing spots, on to the summit. The southwest ridge offers a nice alternative route, over which one can climb the peak without a path but marked with easy climbing. Crossing to the small begging throw is only advisable for experienced people, the sharp ridge has some climbing spots (UIAA I-III).
