Srbice (German Sirbitz ) is a district of the municipality Mochtín in the Czech Republic . The village is located six kilometers southeast of Klatovy and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .

Srbice is located at the junction of Nepomucká vrchovina ( Nepomuker mountains ) for Strážovská vrchovina ( Drosauer mountains ) creek in the valley of the stream Srbický. The Nedbalík (470 m) rises to the northeast, the Pahorek (567 m) to the south, the Háj (587 m) and the Červ (609 m) to the southwest, and the Lipka (554 m) and the Holý vrch (545 m) to the west. . There is a pond at the fort on the northern edge of the village. The forest of Háj borders directly on the village from the west. The German-Czech border runs about 25 kilometers southwest of Srbice.

The next owner was Jan Kanický von Čachrov, he sold the Srbice estate to Johann Dlauhowesky von Langendorf before 1544. He sold Srbice in 1545 to Sebastian Reichenbach von Reichenbach. In the following years the owners of the property changed frequently; In 1654 Wilhelm Albrecht Kolowrat -Krakowsky bought the Srbice estate and added it to his rule Teinitzl . Until the middle of the 19th century, Srbice remained subservient to Teinitzl.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Srbice / Srbitz 1850 a district of the municipality Kristin in the judicial district Klatovy. From 1868 the village belonged to the Klattau district . In 1898 Srbice and Újezdec broke away from Křištín and formed the municipality of Srbice. In 1930 the municipality of Srbice split into the municipalities of Srbice and Újezdec. In 1961 Srbice was incorporated into Mochtín. In 1991 the place had 86 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 28 houses in which 91 people lived. In total, Srbice consists of 89 houses.
