The Taluk Sriperumbudur ( Tamil : ஸ்ரீபெரும்புதூர் வட்டம் ) is a Taluk (sub-district) of the Kanchipuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu . The main town is the eponymous city of Sriperumbudur .

geography

The Taluk Sriperumbudur is located in the north of the Kanchipuram district. It borders on the Taluks Alandur and Tambaram in the east, Chengalpattu in the south and Kanchipuram in the southwest and the districts of Vellore in the northwest and Tiruvallur in the north.

The Taluk Sriperumbudur is congruent with the blocks Sriperumbudur and Kundrathur. Its area is 670.5 square kilometers.
