Srpski Miletić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Српски Милетић , Hungarian: Rácz-Militics or Militics , German: Milititsch or Berauersheim ) is a place in the Odžaci municipality in the Zapadna Bačka district of Serbia . It is located in the autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia, about five kilometers from the border with Croatia . The place has 3,538 inhabitants (2002). The population is predominantly Serbian.

geography

The place is located in the Batschka region about 90 meters above sea level. Agriculture is, due to the very fertile soil, the main source of income for the place. There is a temperate continental climate. Srpski Miletić is located about ten kilometers east of the Serbian-Croatian border and about 25 km south of Sombor on the main road Novi Sad- Sombor. The Danube-Tisza-Danube Canal flows past the village west of Srpski Miletić .
