Stélvio Rosa da Cruz , known as Stélvio , (born January 24, 1989 in Luanda , Angola ) is an Angolan football player .
Career
Born in Angola, Stélvio went through the youth department of the Portuguese club Sporting Braga . In 2007 he was first used in the Primeira Liga . The defensive midfielder was loaned to União Leiria and various Angolan clubs in the years that followed .
In 2012 he returned to Europe and was under contract with Alki Larnaka for one season in Cyprus . From 2013 to 2019 Stélvio played for the Luxembourg club F91 Dudelange and has been five times champion and three times cup winner there. In the 2019/20 season he was under contract with the Belgian second division club Royal Excelsior Virton .
After Virton had not received a license for Division 1B for the new season, he moved to RWD Molenbeek , who had been promoted to Division 1B for the new 2020/21 season, and there signed a contract for the new season with an extension option.
National team
He was part of the Angolan national soccer team at the 2010 African Cup of Nations and played in the group matches against Mali and Malawi and in the quarter-finals against Ghana . After a long break, he has returned to four missions since the end of 2018.
