The Catholic branch church St. Anna is in the Murnau district of Hechendorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen . The listed church belongs as part of the parish of St. Nikolaus Murnau to the deanery Benediktbeuern in the diocese of Augsburg . The address is Partenkirchner Straße 12 .

history

The Romanesque portal and, in the core, the nave date from the middle of the 15th century; in the middle of the 17th century the church was extended and rebuilt. In 1991 a renovation took place.

The church is surrounded by a cemetery, which is enclosed by a partially plastered quarry stone wall with cover plates made of tuff from the 18th century.

Description and equipment

The church tower with a mansard roof is connected to the north of the baroque church . The choir has moved in.

There are late Gothic figures of saints on the altars .
