The Roman Catholic branch church St. Bartholomäus is the village church of Haard , a district of the Bavarian community of Nüdlingen in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen . It is registered under the number D-6-72-136-31 in the Bavarian list of monuments .

history

Haard has been a Nüdlingen branch since 1590. Previously it was probably part of the church in Bad Kissingen. The current church was built in 1868 in the neo-Romanesque style.

Description and equipment

The tower stands in the west in the central axis of the nave . The choir with four arched windows (a fifth window is walled up) is in the east. The sacristy is built on the north side of the choir. The nave has three arched windows on the south side and two on the north side with a rose window in the middle. Three of the four choir windows are glazed in bright red and blue. At the high altar is seen with four side figures, a figure of the risen Christ, left and right, St. Joseph holding baby Jesus and lily and St. Mary . On the left side altar there is also St. Mary, on the right side altar St. Bartholomäus (Apostle) with knife and book. In the middle of the south wall of the nave (opposite the side entrance) you can see a Pietà .
