St. Bartholomäus and Valentin (Überacker)
The Catholic branch church of St. Bartholomäus and Valentin in Überacker , a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Maisach in the Fürstenfeldbruck district , was built in the 13th century. The church at Pfarrstrasse 4 is a protected architectural monument .
The Romanesque choir tower church with baroque changes was extended in 1961. The Romanesque tower basement has a stepped arched frieze on the south side. The upper floor dates from the 17th century and the pointed helmet was put on in 1830. The choir in the basement of the tower has retained its medieval groin vault . Fragments of Romanesque wall paintings from the middle of the 13th century can still be seen on the east and north walls .
