The Catholic parish church of St. Georg in Hegnenbach , a district of the Altenmünster community in the Augsburg district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , was built between 1880 and 1883. The church at Sankt-Georg-Straße 47 is a protected architectural monument .

description

The neo-Gothic brick church , which is consecrated to St. George , was built according to the plans of the architect Richard Greiner . The barrel vault of the single-nave nave with stitch caps and throat ribs rests on polygonal console stones . On the north side is the square tower, on the upper floor with beveled corners , which is covered by a pyramid helmet.

The church furnishings from the time it was built have been preserved.
