St. Leonhard (Abbey)
St. Leonhard ( Ladin San Linert ) is a village in the municipality Abbey in Val Badia in South Tyrol and Ladin . The village is located at an altitude of about 1350 meters on the orographic right side of the valley east of the Gader , a little higher than Pedratsches . The hamlet of Oies with the birthplace of St. Joseph Freinademetz also belongs to St. Leonhard .
On the east side, the village belonging to the Alta Badia holiday region is dominated by the Heiligkreuz massif ( 2907 m slm ). The pilgrimage church Heilig Kreuz and the Heiligkreuz hospice are located under the rock walls .

- The baroque church of St. Jakob and St. Leonhard was built by Franz Singer from Götzens from 1776 to 1778 on the site of a Gothic church.
