The Catholic branch church St. Leonhard in Webling , a district of Dachau in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau , was built around 1500 and changed in the Baroque style around 1630 . The St. Leonhard consecrated church is a protected monument .

description

The late Gothic hall building with three bays and a three-sided end has a tower with a gable roof on the north side, which is provided with brick corner blocks. The structure with buttresses stepped all around is visible from afar on a hill. There is a stepped arch portal on the south side.

The choir , the nave and the tower ground floor are covered by net vaults with corbels . The round keystones of sandstone are provided with Holy reliefs.

Furnishing

The altar is dated around 1700. On the altar sheet, St. Leonhard is depicted with the church and, in the excerpt, the Mother of God .

A wall painting with curtain drapery (around 1630) runs on the side walls inside up to a height of about two meters. It is attributed to the Dachau painter Christoph Pfab.

On the gallery parapet there are two large oil paintings depicting St. Leonhard with abbot 's staff and chains, St. Donatus, St. Isidore with the plowing angel and St. Wendelin with a crown, shepherd's bag and shepherd's staff.
