St. Mariä Vermählung is the Roman Catholic branch church in the Kreuzau district of Langenbroich in the Düren district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The church belongs to the parish of St. Brigida, Untermaubach .

The building is entered under number 68 in the list of architectural monuments in Kreuzau and is dedicated to the marriage of Mary .

History and architecture

Until 1827 Langenbroich belonged to the parish of St. Michael , Lendersdorf . In that year the place was changed to the parish of St. Brigida, Untermaubach, to which it still belongs today.

Today's church was built around 1705. Before that there was no church building in Langenbroich. It is a simple, baroque hall church made of rubble stones with a three-storey, pre-built bell tower in the west. There are two arched windows each on the north and south sides of the east-facing church.
