St. Martin (Lüderode)
The listed Roman Catholic parish church of St. Martin is located in Lüderode , a district of the Sonnenstein community in the Eichsfeld district of Thuringia . With the Church of St. Michael in Weissenborn it forms the parish White-Lüderode that the deanery Leinefelde-Worbis in the Diocese of Erfurt belongs.

The elongated hall church with four axes consists of a structure built in 1577 in the east and one built in 1693 in the west. A choir with a three-sided end and an annex for the sacristy are connected to the east. The wide church tower in the west has an octagonal pointed helmet over a four-sided storey made of half-timbering , in which the bell chamber with three church bells is located.
The interior is covered over a cornice with a plastered barrel vault, which is divided by belt arches. The choir arch stands on consoles . The high altar is from 1703. There is a carved image of Mary from the baroque side altar and a statuette of Moses from the pulpit . A processional Madonna also dates from the 18th century, as does the confessional . A gravestone with a female figure is walled in on the outer south side , above is a figure of Jesus Christ . The organ was built by Louis Krell .
