description

The plastered hall church consists of components of different ages. The retracted rectangular choir tower is Romanesque . On its top massive floor there are biforias , in the east they are hidden, in the west they have broken out. The final slate-faced floor of the tower, which houses the belfry , and the pointed helmet were not erected until post-medieval times. According to tradition, a rectangular extension in the east of about the same width was added around 1480. The nave was rebuilt in 1672 instead of an older one. It has upright rectangular, e.g. Partly chamfered windows and a pointed arched portal to the south . In the 18th century it was changed and given a mansard roof.

The interior has three-sided, two-story galleries and is covered with a vaulted wooden ceiling. The eastern extension of the choir was separated as a sacristy . In front of it is a pulpit altar from the 18th century with a basket decorated in small pieces and a bell from the late 17th century. Paintings with Christ Salvator and saints can be seen on the basket. The plastic clips, cloud bands and putti on the sound cover were added later in the 18th century. Above, on the barrel vault of the choir, there are stucco clouds. In the eastern part there is a late Gothic sacrament house . A small crucifix with a painted body of Christ dates from the 17th century. Today's organ with 15 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built by Adalbert Förtsch in 1867 .
