St. New Year's Eve (Zaisertshofen)
The Catholic parish church of St. Silvester is located in Zaisertshofen , a district of Tussenhausen in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The church is a listed building.
history
The church is a late Gothic building from the second half of the 15th century. Michael Stiller redesigned the church in 1758. The church was extended to the west in 1837. The rococo furnishings and the frescoes by Johann Baptist Enderle from 1759 were removed in 1864/1865.
Building description and equipment
In 1954 the interior of the church was completely changed by Michael Kurz . The outside facade of the church is structured by pilaster strips . Three-pass and pointed arch friezes are located on the nave and on the church tower . The church tower is on the north side in the choir corner. This is with a gable roof covered. The church itself is a hall building with a flat ceiling . At the nave, the drawn closed on three sides includes choir at. There is a stab cap barrel in the choir .
In 1955 the Augsburg painter Karl Radinger created altar pictures, ceiling and wall frescoes.
