The Stade Louis-Dugauguez is a football stadium in the French city ​​of Sedan , Ardennes department , in the Grand Est region . This is where the CS Sedan football club plays its home games. The stadium is named after Louis Dugauguez , who was a player and coach for Sedan. He was also the French national coach from 1967 to 1968 .

Construction began on January 3, 2000 at the location of the Trubert athletics stadium next to the Stade Émile-Albeau , which was replaced by the new stadium. The total cost of the venue was 104 million francs (15.8 million euros ).

On October 7th, 2000 the opening of the still unfinished stadium took place and the first game took place on October 10th between CS Sedan and Stade Rennes . At that time the stadium held 17,000 spectators. On April 26, 2001, work began on the still missing grandstand. On September 16, 2001, the CS's first league game against Olympique Marseille took place.
