Teichel town church
The Protestant town church Teichel is located in the Teichel district of the city of Rudolstadt in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .
history
The late Gothic town church was built in 1448. It has a well-preserved church tower built in 1438 with a renewed tower crown.
On June 19, 2013, the 575th anniversary of the city church was celebrated.
description
The hall church with three naves was built together with the ancillary structures of the tower over a length of three bays . In the width of the central nave , a three-sided closed closes east choir on. The interior has three-sided circumferential two-storey galleries . The nave is spanned between octagonal columns with a vault in a wooden structure. The organ with 17 registers , divided into 2 manuals and a pedal , was built in 1849 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim.
