Stanley Weber (born July 13, 1986 in Paris ) is a French actor .

Life

Weber is the son of the actor Jacques Weber . At the age of 14, after a performance by his father at the Nice theater, he decided to become an actor.

At the age of 18 Weber began studying at the Paris drama school Cours Florent . She then attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for a year . Parallel to his studies, he worked as an actor and co-director at the theater. He then deepened his studies at the French Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique .

In 2008 he starred in the film Figaro , in which his father acted as a director. In 2009 he took on the title role in the docudrama Louis XV - The Descent of a King .

Stanley Weber gained greater fame primarily through his portrayal of Juan in the TV series Borgia . In 2015/16 Stanley played the role of Le Comte Saint Germain in the second season of the US series Outlander .

In 2017, Weber starred alongside Richard Armitage , Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal in the medieval film Pilgrimage . With the “Compagnie de petits champs” Weber played in several French cities in the play Le pays lointain until May 2018 .

In 2018 Weber appeared in the series Britannia , which was co-produced by Sky Original Production and Amazons Prime Video .
