Strong as two is the 35th studio album by German rock musician Udo Lindenberg . It was released on March 28, 2008 and is Lindenberg's first studio album to reach first place in the German album charts .
Emergence
In Stark wie Zwei , Lindenberg was involved as the author of most of the texts. Jan Eißfeldt (alias Jan Delay ) wrote quite differently , Angelina Maccarone and Doris Decker wrote the Forbidden City . The texts deal with personal experiences of the past years as well as perceptions of the present time. Many prominent musicians contributed to the composition and the recording of the album. Including Jan Delay, Silbermond and Helge Schneider . Also, Annette Humpe was involved as a co-composer. The album was produced by Andreas Herbig . Simon Triebel composed the song What did time do with us , Martin Tingvall the song When you sag and Tobias Kuhn the song I pull my hat . The song Mein Ding was written by Jörg Sander . The album was recorded in the Boogie Park Studio in Hamburg-Altona.
reception
Artur Schulz from Laut.de awarded four out of five stars. He described the album as "a life summary full of observations and insights" and praised the "strongest songs since the memory of Linden."
