Jörg Sander (* 1967 in Siegburg ) is a German guitarist and composer .

Life

Growing up in Wilhelmshaven , Jörg Sander started playing the guitar at the age of 14. He passed his Abitur at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium . In 1991 he went to Hamburg and took part in the popular music contact course at the Hamburg University of Music . There Sander founded the band “Public Park”, later “Disco” and producer Franz Plasa offered the collaboration. The band split up around the turn of the millennium after 3 records and numerous tours.

Udo Lindenberg became aware of the guitarist in 1994 and engaged him for album recordings and tours. In addition, Jörg Sander quickly found connection to the German studio music scene and recorded numerous CDs by well-known groups and artists.

Sander co-composed for Udo Lindenberg a. a. his biggest hit "Ich mach 'mein Ding", also for Peter Maffay, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Keimzeit, Echt and many more.

Jörg Sander is a member and guitarist of the panic orchestra , the legendary "Udo Lindenberg-MTV-unplugged-Band" and since Jan Delay's album "Hammer und Michel" he is also a member of his band Disko No 1
