Stefan Eidinger (born November 7, 1962 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Eidinger played for the amateurs of Hannover 96 before joining the professional team. In the 1985/86 season he made his debut in the Bundesliga : He was substituted on for Jürgen Baier by Jörg Berger in the away game at 1. FC Saarbrücken on the 25th matchday . After Werner Biskup and Jürgen Rynio, Berger was the third person in charge at Lower Saxony this season. Eidinger made his second appearance on the last matchday of the season, the relegation of Hanover was already sealed and Helmut Kalthoff was now responsible on the sidelines as the fourth coach of that season.

In the following season in the 2nd Bundesliga , Eidinger remained a supplementary player; he could not prevail against his teammates Siegfried Reich , Gregor Grillemeier , Frank Hartmann and Rachid Belarbi . So he completed two short missions and was involved in winning the championship and the direct return to the Bundesliga. Eidinger did not go to the Bundesliga with Hanover. He switched to the amateur camp and played for TuS Celle FC , DJK Sparta Langenhagen, ASC Nienburg , Prussia Hameln , Göttingen 05 , TuS Hessisch Oldendorf and TSV Algesdorf over the next few years .

He completed a total of 69 games with 21 goals at Preußen Hameln and TuS Celle in the then third-class amateur upper league North .
